Finding the right ETF isn’t easy, so we’ve simplified it. Working with iShares by BlackRock, we’ve created a shortlist of ETFs using criteria set by us.
Grouped into Around the World, Themes, Fixed Income and Featured ETFs, shaped by iShares by BlackRock’s quarterly market outlook.
You’ll also find 800+ ETFs from over 20 providers in our ETF Centre.
Our featured ETFs provide exposure to key themes shaping the investment landscape.
As AI-related concentration rises, healthcare offers a valuable source of diversification. The sector has tended to hold up better in stress testing scenarios where AI-linked exposures underperform. Healthcare has different underlying drivers versus technology, such as ageing populations and rising healthcare spending. At the same time, healthcare can also benefit from AI adoption across drug discovery, diagnostics and hospital operations, giving it a distinctive role as both a diversifier from AI and a potential long-term beneficiary of the technology. We note US healthcare policy around the midterm election cycle could create periods of volatility, but we see global healthcare as a long-term opportunity.
As we positioned in our last outlook, infrastructure remains supported by a multi-year cycle to modernise ageing assets and strengthen electrification, competitiveness and energy security. In the short term, the exposure could see some volatility if AI-related investment expectations weaken, but we continue to see long-term opportunities supported by rising power demand, policy support and continued capital spending. Infrastructure also offers exposure to essential assets with relatively resilient cash flows.
Higher interest rates and greater competition for capital have materially improved the income available from bonds. Short-dated corporate bonds can offer an attractive combination of income and resilience, with exposure to high-quality companies while limiting sensitivity to interest-rate moves relative to longer-dated bonds.
The quarterly outlook highlights how current market conditions are shaping investment opportunities to help diversify your portfolio.
It explores themes that iShares believes can help investors navigate ongoing economic uncertainty and risks.
